Street Invaders Gallery

Hey Team!

I’m at the office working on contacting you all… making up forms… and I was thinking about the verses that I read this morning during our devotional time. It just made me think of how we need to be preparing our hearts for this summer and ultimately, the rest of our lives. They’re from Colossians 3:12-17,

12 + 13… “Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”

- This is what we need to be learning! First, that in Jesus we are holy and love. Second, that we are to be compassionate, kind, humble, meek, and patient. On top of those things, put up with each other! We won’t always get along with the people around us, but its important that we love them anyways because it’s what Christ wants us to do. So forgive each other. Don’t be someone’s doormat, but we need to know that we’re called to submit to each other (Eph. 5:21).

14 + 15… “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”

16… “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

17… “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

My friends… keep digging into your Bibles! This is the kind of stuff that God wants us to be doing. I can’t express how important Bible reading and prayer is. God has been teaching me so much through it this past year, and I still have so much to learn.

ANYWAYS… There are some new pictures up on the Street Invaders website from this past year in the Gallery that you should really take a look at! It’s always fun to see pictures of yourself and friends!
